With two weeks of proper training under my belt I’m going to attempt to race at the cross country league tomorrow . This is probably how my race will go... . As much as I tell myself to pace it before hand, as soon as I line up on the start line I’ll think I’m magically much fitter than I am. Start gun goes off and I’ll set off way too fast and within a couple of kilometres I will have reached my impending death. Then I’ll spend the next 8k or so jogging round in the hurt locker hating every minute of it! . That’s how most cross country races I do end up anyway so let’s hope I’ve learnt from my school boy errors 🤷🏼‍♂️
